Hiring: Senior Energy Consultant (Building Performance)
Nottingham / Newark (Hybrid Working)
£40,000 - £50,000 DOE
I'm currently supporting an established engineering and sustainability consultancy in their search for a Senior Energy Consultant to join their growing team in the East Midlands.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced energy professional to step into a senior role, working on a wide range of building performance and low-carbon design projects across multiple sectors.
You'll be involved in delivering detailed energy analysis, EPCs, and supporting design teams to improve building efficiency and compliance outcomes.

What you'll be doing:
Producing commercial EPCs and building energy assessments
Carrying out energy modelling (Part L compliance)
Developing energy strategies and technical reports
Working closely with architects, engineers, and clients
Supporting low-carbon and building performance improvements
Managing project delivery and maintaining client relationships
What we're looking for:
NDEA accreditation (Level 3, 4 or 5)
Strong background in energy consultancy / building performance
Experience with EPC delivery and Part L compliance
Knowledge of tools such as IES VE / SBEM
Familiarity with CIBSE guidance (TM54, TM52, TM59) desirable
Strong communication and reporting skills
