A dynamic opportunity has opened for an experienced Employee Relations Specialist to join a forward‑thinking organisation undergoing exciting growth and transformation. Responsibilities:

  • Acting as a trusted expert on end‑to‑end employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, performance and absence management.
  • Leading and supporting complex investigations, ensuring fair, consistent and timely outcomes.
  • Coaching and guiding HR Advisers, helping to build capability and confidence across the team.
  • Partnering with managers and HR Business Partners to create practical action plans that drive positive outcomes.
  • Supporting the development and implementation of ER policies, procedures and best practice.
  • Delivering engaging training sessions on ER, conflict resolution and employment law.
  • Analysing ER trends and data to identify risks, opportunities and proactive solutions.
  • Maintaining accurate case records and ensuring full compliance with employment legislation.
  • Contributing to wider HR projects including restructures, redundancies, M&A activity and policy reviews.
  • Leading or supporting specialist projects such as DSARs, whistleblowing and SMCR.
  • Building strong, credible relationships across the business at all levels.
  • Deputising for the ER Manager when required and supporting the ER Director with strategic initiatives.

Requirements:

  • CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent) and strong, up‑to‑date knowledge of UK employment law.
  • Proven experience managing complex ER cases with confidence and sound judgement.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence, challenge and coach effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
