ABOUT YOU

As the Senior Electrical Safety Test Engineer, you will be working with our client base from start to finish in helping test, evaluate and report write for their products. We are seeking someone who is comfortable working face to face with our clients and has a good understanding of electrical safety testing to IEC62368 standards.

Required skills and experience:

Essential: Relevant Electrical/Electronic formal qualifications Good IT Skills, experience with excel, word and data retention systems. Experience of working in accordance with a Quality Management System Ability to communicate effectively with customers and other members of the team. Experience and knowledge in one or more electrical safety standards e.g., IEC/EN 62368/61558/UL62368

Desirable: Background in product safety testing Experience in safety critical function design/development of electrical products Understanding of different certification schemes and processes Experience of generating test reports for customers and certification purposes. Ability to fault find down to component level Experience working in an ISO 17025 accredited laboratory
