Job Title: Senior Electrical Quantity Surveyor
Location: Rochester, Kent (Projects across London)
Salary: £95K–£100K + Package

The Role:

* Full commercial ownership of electrical projects from pre-construction to final account

* Lead tenders from enquiry through submission and negotiation

* Manage client applications, variations, change control, and final accounts

* Produce procurement schedules and manage subcontractor packages

* Carry out take-offs, review drawings, and manage design changes (add/omits)

* Ensure contract compliance and issue contractual notifications

* Work with Project Managers on risk registers and project programmes

* Attend client meetings and manage project correspondence

* Support development of the commercial function within the business

* Projects include Cat A & B office fit-outs, hospitals, schools, colleges, warehouses, and high-end residential

* Growing business with strong reputation and long-term client relationships

* Close-knit senior team with minimal bureaucracy

* Rochester-based office with London projects (no daily central London commute)

The Ideal Candidate:

* Experience as a Quantity Surveyor in electrical or M&E contracting (main contractor background considered)

* Strong understanding of NEC, JCT, or bespoke contracts

* Proven ability to manage projects end-to-end

* Client-facing with strong communication skills

* Highly organised, detail-oriented, and commercially driven

* Ambitious with progression into senior leadership
