The Project

You will play a pivotal role on a flagship commercial development, overseeing the electrical delivery of a full MEP package valued at approximately £40 million.

This major scheme is expected to run for the next two years, providing long-term stability and the opportunity to lead from early delivery stages through to successful completion. Reporting directly to the Project Director, you will be instrumental in ensuring the successful execution of this large-scale project, driving programme, profitability, quality, and team performance.

Key Responsibilities
Full operational management of the electrical package on a major commercial MEP project
Reporting directly to the Project Director on project performance and strategic delivery
Leading employee management, including team welfare, performance, mentorship, and development
Ownership of project P&L, ensuring commercial success and financial accountability
Managing programme delivery to ensure milestones and deadlines are achieved
Overseeing quality assurance and ensuring exceptional delivery standards throughout
Driving health & safety compliance across all project activities
Coordinating with internal teams, subcontractors, and client stakeholders
Risk management, problem-solving, and ensuring smooth project execution from inception to handover
Candidate Profile
Proven experience as a Senior Electrical Project Manager on large-scale commercial or mixed-use developments
Strong background in managing high-value MEP/electrical packages
Excellent leadership and people management capabilities
Commercially astute with strong P&L management experience
Deep understanding of programme management, quality control, and H&S regulations
Ability to operate strategically while maintaining hands-on project oversight
Ambitious, driven, and capable of delivering high-profile projects successfully
