Electrical Design Engineer (AutoCAD, SolidWorks Electrical) Location: Derbyshire (On-site / Hybrid options available) Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 + Benefits
Overview Electrical Design Engineer to support the design, development and integration of electrical systems and control panels for advanced industrial equipment.
This role is ideal for someone with strong experience in electrical schematics, control panel design and CAD software (AutoCAD or SolidWorks Electrical), looking to work in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary engineering environment.
You will work closely with mechanical, systems and software engineers to deliver innovative, reliable and cost-effective electrical design solutions for global applications.
Key Responsibilities Translate customer requirements into detailed electrical specifications and system designs Produce electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and layout drawings using AutoCAD or SolidWorks Electrical Design and develop control panels and electrical systems for industrial applications Select electrical components and materials based on technical standards, cost and availability Collaborate with mechanical and systems engineering teams to ensure seamless system integration Support manufacturing and suppliers during build, assembly ...
