Job Description
Senior Electrical Engineer – Building Services
Reading
An established and well-respected building services consultancy in Reading is looking to appoint a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a collaborative and experienced environment, delivering high-quality engineering solutions across a diverse range of projects.
The successful candidate will play a key role in the design and delivery of electrical building services across multiple sectors, working closely with clients, architects, and multidisciplinary teams.
The Role
Deliver electrical design across all RIBA stages
Produce high-quality technical outputs including specifications, drawings, and calculations
Coordinate with multidisciplinary design teams and external stakeholders
Support the mentoring and development of junior engineers
Contribute to the successful delivery of projects from concept through to completion
About You
Degree qualified in Electrical or Building Services Engineering
Strong experience in electrical building services design within a consultancy environment
Good knowledge of UK regulations and industry standards
Experience using industry software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Amtech, or Dialux
Chartered or working towards
