Our client is part of a group that has been established for almost 200 years and employs more than 5,500 staff globally, specialising in a range of bespoke heavier engineering and materials handling activities for a diverse range of applications. Due to continued success and an ongoing programme of strategic growth, they are now seeking to recruit an experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer to be based out of their prestigious Leeds Office environment and complement their successful electrical engineering team.

Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, the successful Senior Electrical Design Engineer candidate will undertake a range of duties and responsibilities that will include (but not be limited to):

Developing designs and specifications for control systems across the portfolio of products available Co-ordinating site, application and design engineering resources to meet the project's technical requirement. Ensuring effective interfacing between the design, production, procurement and installation and commissioning site teams to optimise project costs and implementation. Developing a working understanding of applicable Industry Standards.
