Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join a dynamic Building Services team. Your role will involve:

You will be responsible for:

• Leading the electrical design for power, lighting, fire alarm, security, and data systems.
• Producing drawings, calculations, and technical specifications.
• Liaising with clients and multidisciplinary teams as required to meet project demands.
• Supporting project delivery from feasibility to handover, including conducting site inspections.
• Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to the wider team development.
• Promoting sustainable, energy-efficient design solutions.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• A degree in Building Services Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in electrical design within building services,
• Experience in team leadership/management and project leadership in a consultancy environment.
• Proficiency with industry standard software: AutoCAD, Revit, Dialux, Amtech, etc.
• Strong understanding of UK building regulations and IET/BS standards.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and coordination skills.
