Senior Electrical Design Engineer

London, Southwark

£55,000 + Benefits Package + Flexible working + Bonus

A 40 strong MEP Design and Sustainability consultancy are searching for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join their expanding team. This consultancy who have a first class reputation within the industry, competing with some of the larger consultancies they have won a number of large well publicised projects within the commercial workplace, retail and mixed-use projects in London. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an experienced team, responsible for managing your own projects with well renowned architects, brands and estates. Due to the expansion of the team you will have the opportunity to climb the ranks quickly and have the opportunity to lead and build you own electrical building services design team within 18 months. Working under an experience Board director you will have the opportunity to learn and gain a good understanding of property ownership, contract administration, investment management, contract law, development monitoring, project management, sustainability, master planning, life cycle costing and a range of specialist building surveys making you become a well rounded building services engineering consultant.

Candidates should have the below experience:

• At least 6 years experience working within a design consultancy

• Degree educated in Electrical Engineering or similar

• Experience working in client facing roles

• Ambition to become a future Director within an established building services consultancy

• Good commercial acumen.
