Job overview
Sherwood Forest Hospitals are seeking a highly skilled and influential Senior Divisional Finance Manager (SDFM) to join our team at King’s Mill Hospital. This is a pivotal leadership role, providing comprehensive financial management and commercial expertise to support both the Division and the wider Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (SFHFT).
Working closely with the Head of Financial Management and the Deputy Chief Financial Officer, you will ensure the Division receives exceptional financial insight, challenge and strategic support. Your work will directly contribute to the Trust achieving its operational and long‑term strategic goals.
As SDFM, you will be a highly visible and trusted leader within the organisation. You will be a full member of the Directorate Senior Leadership Team, acting as the principal advisor on all financial matters and serving as an integral extension of the SFHFT Finance Team.
This dynamic and influential role spans the full breadth of divisional financial leadership, including:

You will act as a key link between finance and the division, bringing a resilient, innovative and multi‑layered approach to reporting, problem‑solving and strategic decision‑making.
