Overview
We are supporting a central government organisation building and scaling a new capability across secure, data-driven and AI-enabled services.
They are looking for a hands-on DevOps/Infrastructure Engineer who can operate across complex, hybrid environments - someone comfortable working at the intersection of infrastructure, automation and delivery.
This is not a pure cloud or platform role. The focus is on building, automating and improving real-world environments , often within constrained and evolving estates.
The Role
You will play a key role in:
Designing, building and maintaining secure infrastructure environments
Automating infrastructure and deployment processes using modern tooling
Supporting the creation of test environments, POCs and scalable delivery pipelines
Working across hybrid estates (on-prem, virtualised and cloud)
Improving reliability, repeatability and efficiency of infrastructure deployments
