THE ROLE We are seeking a highly experienced and forward-thinking Senior Principal to lead DevOps Engineering across our AI products group. This role is critical in enabling the development, deployment, and scaling of cutting-edge AI products that transform banking operations and customer experiences. You will work closely with product managers, data scientists, and software engineers to build robust, secure, and scalable infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines for AI/ML solutions.
Design and operate hybrid cloud infrastructure across Cloud (Azure, AWS) and on-prem environments.
Terraform, Azure ARM/Bicep, AWS CloudFormation, and Ansible).
Automate configuration management and routine tasks (e.g. Python, Bash).
Implement AI deployments and workflows ( e.g. GitOps workflows using ArgoCD or FluxCD for Kubernetes-based AI deployments).
Containerize AI applications using Docker and manage deployments on Kubernetes clusters (EKS, AKS, on-prem).
Use Helm, ingress controllers, and service meshes to manage complex deployments.
Manage secrets using HashiCorp Vault, AWS Secrets Manager, and Azure Key Vault.
Operate cloud-native security services like Azure Defender, AWS GuardDuty, Security Hub, Inspector, and Config.
Monitoring & Observability
Build centralized monitoring and logging using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, Splunk, Azure Monitor, and AWS CloudWatch.
Mentor junior engineers and champion DevOps best practices across the AI engineering organization
10+ years in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering roles.
~ Deep expertise in Azure, AWS, and hybrid infrastructure.
~ Proven track record in implementing secure, compliant, and scalable DevOps practices.
