Purpose:

Design, build, and deliver secure, scalable Azure-based cloud platforms, including CI/CD capabilities, enabling the rapid and reliable delivery of software into production. Lead initiatives that modernise technology, tooling, and engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop resilient, cost-effective cloud solutions with security and performance built in.
• Provide specialist expertise in cloud and DevOps technologies.
• Define, follow, and evolve cloud engineering standards and best practices.
• Ensure high-quality, automated testing and deployment of changes.
• Peer review code and documentation for quality, maintainability, and supportability.
• Provide second-line support to application support teams.
• Maintain current industry-recognised certifications.
• Share knowledge across engineering and technology teams.
• Identify and deliver innovation opportunities, including the use of AI.
• Hands-on experience with containerised workloads and end-to-end traffic management (ingress, routing, security, WAF, and zero-downtime deployments).
• Act in line with organisational values and professional standards.
