Job Description

Built Alliance are delighted to be seeking a Senior Development Project Manager to join a fast-growing tech driven Property Investment & Development Company where you will have full ownership of the development lifecycle across an impressive and growing portfolio of mixed-use high profile (Commercial/BTR Residential) development schemes across the North West.\nThis is a hybrid role combining development and project management, suited to an experienced professional who is confident to lead projects from land acquisition through to delivery and operation making this a very niche and involved role.\nWorking closely with the acquisitions team and in-house contractor, you will drive performance across programme, cost and quality on high-impact projects within a business that proudly combines development expertise with in-house delivery capability.\nKey Responsibilities\n * Identify and assess development opportunities, leading feasibility studies and appraisals\n * Manage projects end-to-end: acquisition, planning, procurement, delivery and handover\n * Lead the planning process including S106, S278, S73 and condition discharge etc\n * Oversee cash flow, budgets and development performance against appraisal\n * Work closely with the in-house contractor to manage design, tender and construction\n * Appoint and manage external consultants across all RIBA stages\n * Report on progress, risks and returns to investors and senior stakeholders\n * Support leasing, marketing and operational strategies\n * Ensure all legal, planning and contractual obligations are met\nRequirements\n * Multiple years experience in development and project management\n * Proven track record delivering mixed-use schemes end-to-end (Ideally within BTR, High rise residential and hotels etc)\n * In-depth knowledge of the UK planning system\n * Experience managing and leading multi-disciplinary teams\n * Confident stakeholder and investor reporting\n * Client-side or developer background and experience working for or with in-house or D&B contractors\n * A good understanding of the North West Property and Built Environment market knowledge\n * MRICS, MCIOB or MAPM (not super essential, the right experience is key with this one)\n * Understanding of BTR and placemaking strategies\nNot a typical role we often have the pleasure of recruiting for, if you would like to find out more, please do contact Rob Hayton at Built Alliance
