6 months+ | UK Wide with travel to Leeds once per fortnight

We are recruiting for a Senior Developer / Platform Engineer to join a team supporting a nationally critical healthcare integration and messaging platform. This is a high-impact contract role working on systems that require strong resilience, security, and engineering discipline.
This role would suit someone with a strong Python development background who is equally comfortable working across cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, observability, and secure software delivery.
The opportunity You will help maintain and improve a complex cloud-based platform that supports secure, high-availability data exchange across a large-scale environment. The work will involve improving code quality, supporting deployment standards, strengthening platform engineering practices, and contributing to the reliability and security of live services.
