We are seeking a motivated and creative Senior Mechanical/Design Engineer to join a vibrant, award-winning team at the forefront of sustainable shipping. What will you be doing?
\n
\n
Lead the mechanical and structural design of cutting-edge subsystems from concept through detailed manufacturing release.
\n
Develop 3D models, detailed drawings, and supporting calculations with strong analytical judgment and FEA application.
\n
Drive design validation, documentation, and integration across performance, systems, and manufacturing teams.
\n
Mentor junior engineers, review work, and communicate technical outcomes clearly to internal and external stakeholders.
\n
Champion safe, sustainable, and high-quality engineering standards throughout all projects.
\n
\n
\n
Are you the ideal candidate?
\n
\n
Qualified in Mechanical, Structural, or Marine Engineering with minimum 3 years' experience in complex mechanical or design engineering.
\n
Proven success delivering designs from concept to production in marine, offshore, or related heavy machinery environments.
\n
Skilled in Design for Manufacture, steel structures, and drawing creation within a design/manufacturing setting.
\n
Proficient in 3D CAD software (Autodesk Inventor or equivalent) and comfortable with structural analysis.
\n
Focused, determined, and inspired to solve complex engineering challenges with creativity and practical thinking.
\n
