Always inclusive, always empowering, we create a fusion of original hand-painted prints and timeless silhouettes to flatter every woman, irrespective of age, season, size, nationality or time of day.Role OverviewWe are looking for a vintage-obsessed, fit-focused Senior Designer to join the design team on a 12-month maternity cover. Working closely with the Creative Director and wider design team, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering the creative direction across all categories, including accessories, knitwear, wovens, denim and shoes. Experience across accessories and jewellery would be highly beneficial, supporting RIXO’s growing lifestyle and non-apparel categories alongside core garment design.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop seasonal collections in line with the RIXO brand identityTake ownership of specific categories, capsules or special projects from concept to productionWork collaboratively with the Creative Director to interpret and execute creative directionSupport the design and development of accessories and jewellery ranges where requiredCreate detailed design packs, sketches and specifications for sampling and productionAttend fittings, contributing to fit, balance and styling decisionsPartner closely with print, product development and production teams to ensure cohesive product storiesMentor and support junior members of the design teamStay informed on market trends, vintage references and commercial opportunities relevant to the brandSKILLS & EXPERIENCEProven experience in a Senior Designer role within a fashion brand, with a strong portfolio highlighting originality, creativity, and technical expertiseStrong background in womenswear garment designExperience designing or developing accessories and/or jewellery is highly desirableExcellent understanding of garment construction, fabrication and fitConfident working across multiple categories and managing competing prioritiesStrong communication and collaboration skillsCommercial awareness with a creative, detail-driven approachProficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop)PERSONAL ATTRIBUTESPassionate about the RIXO brand and aestheticExceptional artistic ability with a keen eye for colour, patterns, and detailOrganised, proactive and comfortable working at paceCollaborative and supportive team playerConfident contributing ideas while remaining flexible and open to feedbackWHY RIXO?Flexible Hybrid Working: Enjoy a balance with three-four days on-site each week.Generous Holiday Entitlement: 25 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays.Exclusive RIXO Discount: Access exclusive staff discounts on our collections.Staff Sample Sales: Early access to limited-edition items at special prices.Team Social Events: Regular events to celebrate achievements.Enhanced Family Leave: Supportive maternity and paternity leave policies to help you and your family.Health Cash Plan: Contribute to everyday health and wellness needs, providing extra support. #J-18808-Ljbffr
