Senior Design Manager\nLondon, England\n£70,000 - £80,000 Per Annum\nHybrid Work\nWe are seeking a Senior Design Manager to join our client's team Infrastructure division in their London office on a permanent basis.\nYou will begin on a major highways scheme in the South of England before moving on to newly secured projects across the region.\nResponsibilities:\n * You'll manage the full design lifecycle, from tender support through construction to handover.\n * Leading design reviews, progress meetings, and technical workshops with stakeholders, clients, and delivery teams.\n * Managing internal and external design partners, ensuring smooth communication between engineering teams, consultants, and construction teams.\n * Reviewing and challenging design information to ensure buildability, cost‑effectiveness, and alignment with project requirements.\n * Overseeing design risk management, including identifying potential issues early and driving mitigation strategies.\nRequirements:\n * Strong civils or infrastructure experience, gained either with a consultancy or a main contractor.\n * Degree or HND in Civil Engineering (or similar)\n * Experience on civil engineering or major infrastructure projects\n * Highways experience (advantageous)\n * Background in Design Management\n * Strong understanding of construction processes and standards\nPlease give George Wilson a call for further information or a confidential chat about your next steps on (phone number removed) or email (url removed)
