The Role As Senior Design Manager, you will lead the design process on new build construction projects ranging from £10m to £30m. Based in Coalville, you’ll work closely with project teams, consultants, and clients to ensure design delivery aligns with programme, budget, and quality expectations.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the design process from pre-construction through to project completion
* Manage consultant teams and coordinate multidisciplinary design information
* Drive design programmes in line with project timelines
* Review and challenge design solutions to ensure buildability and cost efficiency
* Chair design team meetings and manage design risk registers
* Work closely with commercial, planning, and delivery teams
* Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and client requirements
* Support bid and tender processes where required
