Long-established main contractor seeking a strong Senior Design Manager / Design Lead to play a key role in the early stages of several new-build, mixed-use developments in London. They are introducing new technology and methods across the business, including a significant investment into BIM, and are seeking a Design Manager who can lead from the front on innovation, compliance and coordination. This is a unique opportunity to shape the design process from Gateway 1 through to completion, working closely alongside their Digital Construction Department.
Key Responsibilities: Leading the design process across multiple projects, starting at pre-construction (Gateway 1) Driving compliance with the Building Safety Act and ensuring the golden thread of information is maintained throughout each project Coordinating with architects, consultants, engineers and subcontractors to ensure design and delivery are fully aligned Working closely with the Digital Construction team to implement BIM across all projects Managing workflows from the head office during early stages, then transitioning to site as projects progress En...
