Senior Design Manager\n\nLondon, England\n\n£70,000 - £80,000 Per Annum\n\nHybrid Work\n\nWe are seeking a Senior Design Manager to join our client's team Infrastructure division in their London office on a permanent basis.\n\nYou will begin on a major highways scheme in the South of England before moving on to newly secured projects across the region.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nYou 'll manage the full design lifecycle, from tender support through construction to handover.\nLeading design reviews, progress meetings, and technical workshops with stakeholders, clients, and delivery teams.\nManaging internal and external design partners, ensuring smooth communication between engineering teams, consultants, and construction teams.\nReviewing and challenging design information to ensure buildability, cost‑effectiveness, and alignment with project requirements.\nOverseeing design risk management, including identifying potential issues early and driving mitigation strategies.Requirements:\n\nStrong civils or infrastructure experience, gained either with a consultancy or a main contractor.\nDegree or HND in Civil Engineering (or similar)\nExperience on civil engineering or major infrastructure projects\nHighways experience (advantageous)\nBackground in Design Management\nStrong understanding of construction processes and standardsPlease give George Wilson a call for further information or a confidential chat about your next steps on (phone number removed) or email (url removed)
