Security Systems Design Engineer | 60,000 + Hybrid Working | London or Bath (or surrounding areas)
This is not a cybersecurity role. We're specifically looking for professionals with experience designing electronic physical security systems - not IT security or threat monitoring analysts.
Were hiring a Senior Security Systems Design Engineer to join a globally respected, multidisciplinary consultancy known for delivering high-performance, technology-driven building and infrastructure solutions. They work on iconic, complex projects across the UK and internationallyfrom airports, stadiums, and government buildings to cultural institutions, universities, and high-end commercial developments.
As a Security Systems Design Engineer , you'll be responsible for the design and integration of physical electronic security systems such as:
CCTV
Youll collaborate with architects, engineers, IT specialists, and fire safety consultants to ensure the security systems are integrated seamlessly into the overall design of each building. This is a risk-based, holistic approach - far beyond simple hardware layouts.
Are confident using tools like AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks
Are eligible for (or already hold) UK security clearance
Hybrid working from either London or Bath (or surrounding areas)
Work on high-profile international projects
Support for professional development and certifications
