The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking a skilled Senior Delivery Consultant to join our team at Amazon Web Services (AWS). In this role, you’ll work closely with customers to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet their technical requirements and business objectives, driving customer success throughout the cloud journey. Responsibilities include:

Designing and implementing complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs. Providing technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery. Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies. Acting as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies. Sharing knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts.

Be a UK national and obtain and maintain a UK Government Security Clearance. Basic Qualifications

Experience as a technical specialist in design and architecture. Experience with cloud-based solutions (AWS or equivalent), system, network, and operating system administration. Experience with external or internal customer-facing, large scale project management. Knowledge of application modernisation patterns and strategies. Experience with containerisation technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, EKS). Experience with microservices architecture design and implementation. Experience with serverless computing and event‑driven architectures. Experience with API design and management. Experience with application refactoring and re‑platforming techniques. Experience with cloud‑native development practices.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience and technical expertise in cloud computing technologies. Experience leading the design, development, and deployment of business software at scale, or recent hands‑on technology infrastructure, network, compute, storage, and virtualization experience. Experience in configuration management using CloudFormation, Chef, or Puppet. Experience in large‑scale migration (data centre to data centre or data centre to cloud). Experience with legacy application assessment and decomposition. Experience with database modernisation.
