Full Time Onsite - LondonMarket Leading CompensationI am partnered with a leading technology driven, quantitative hedge fund who are seeking an experience Database Engineer with ClickHouse expertise.You would be responsible for managing and optimising large-scale database systems supporting research and trading activities.ResponsibilitiesManage and maintain ClickHouse clusters across distributed environmentsConfigure replication, sharding, and coordination services (Keeper/ZooKeeper)Handle data lifecycle: partitioning, TTL, and merge operationsMonitor, troubleshoot, and optimise query performanceManage server resources: CPU, memory, and diskDesign high availability and disaster recovery solutionsEnforce access controls and security policiesSupport streaming and batch data ingestion pipelinesRequirements5+ years as a DBA in production environmentsHands-on experience with distributed/clustered ClickHouseConfident tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting at scale, with a solid understanding of HA and disaster recoveryStrong SQL, Linux/UNIX, familiarity with streaming pipelines like Kafka, and exposure to PostgreSQL or SQL Server. #J-18808-Ljbffr
