Senior Data Scientist

The Role

• Build, train, and optimise machine learning models used by financial services clients and quant teams.

• Develop LLM‑based solutions including finetuning, conversational agents, and NLP‑to‑LLM pipelines.

• Contribute to proprietary data assistance products designed for analytical workflows.

• Work across Python‑based modelling, experimentation, and error analysis.

• Collaborate closely with engineering teams while leveraging an existing deployment function.

• Support continuous improvement across modelling strategies, feature engineering, and evaluation methods.

Your Skills and Experience

• Strong commercial experience using Python for machine learning.

• Solid grounding in maths, statistics, or a related quantitative discipline.

• Background working with financial services data or trading‑focused models.

• Experience building ML models end‑to‑end, including optimisation and error analysis.

• Knowledge of LLMs, finetuning, conversational AI, or modern NLP techniques.

• Comfortable working in a collaborative environment with engineers and product teams.
