Job Description

Data Analysis & Reporting:
\n
\n
Extract, clean, and integrate data from a variety of systems (AWS, procurement systems, etc, Hardware Asset and Software Asset Management) to create accurate and insightful reports.
\n
Develop and maintain dashboards and visualisations in Tableau for use by the procurement category manager, stakeholders and the executive team.
\n
Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across all reports and analyses.
\n
\n
AWS Reporting Integration:
\n
\n
Utilize AWS reporting tools (such as Athena and Cost Explorer) to extract and manipulate data.
\n
Combine AWS data with other financial and procurement datasets to create holistic insights across the organisation.
\n
Automate data pipelines where possible to improve efficiency and reliability and reduce human errors.
\n
\n
Collaboration & Communication:
\n
\n
Work closely with procurement colleagues, finance, and IT teams to understand reporting requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
\n
Present findings and insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring actionable recommendations are highlighted.
\n
\n
Process Optimization:
\n
\n
Review utilization of supplier commitments and provided advanced analytics, highlighting usage risks.
\n
Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements within the reporting and analytics workflows.
\n
Stay updated on industry best practices and incorporate them into the team's data analysis strategies.
\n
\n
\n
Your present skillset
\n
\n
Degree in Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field .
\n
8+ years proven experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in procurement or financial functions.
\n
Strong understanding of AWS reporting, including the ability to consume and integrate data from AWS.
\n
Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with SQL or other database query languages.
\n
Experience with Python or other programming languages for data manipulation and automation
\n
Proficiency in Tableau or similar reporting/visualization tools.
\n
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and provide clear, actionable insights.
\n
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience presenting to executive audiences.
\n
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
\n
\n
Skills:
\n
\n
Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement software (e.g., SAP, Coupa, etc.)
\n
Knowledge of cloud computing and data storage best practices.
\n
Experience in building automated data pipelines and ETL processes.
\n
Experience working within fast paced organisations and developing visualisations/business insights of complex and disparate information.
\n
