Senior Engineering Manager - Data & Digital Platforms - Up to £110,000

A large, globally distributed organisation is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead multiple data and digital engineering teams delivering enterprise-scale platforms and products.
\n
This is a senior leadership role focused on people, delivery, and operational excellence rather than hands-on coding. You will set standards, enable predictable delivery, mature engineering capability, and oversee vendor and internal teams operating across a modern Microsoft and cloud-based stack.

Key Responsibilities
\n
\n Lead globally distributed engineering teams across data platforms and low-code tools \n
Create clear delivery rhythms, sprint discipline, and engineering standards \n
Develop engineering leads through coaching, feedback, and capability uplift \n
Oversee vendor delivery to ensure quality, value, and alignment to standards \n
Champion continuous improvement across tooling, processes, and ways of working \n
Support delivery across platforms including cloud data, workflow, and collaboration tools \n

Skills & Experience
\n
\n Extensive experience leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams \n
Proven delivery leadership across multiple squads in complex environments \n
Experience managing vendor and partner delivery models \n
Strong understanding of modern data and platform ecosystems \n
Confident supporting service operations and production environments \n
Ability to build, scale, and mature high-performing engineering functions \n
Strong stakeholder engagement and senior-level communication skills \n
\n
Technical Environment (Exposure Required)
\n
\n Cloud data platforms (e.g. Databricks, Azure) \n
DevOps and agile delivery tooling \n
\n
