£80,000 to £95,000 + bonus

This is with a large consumer-facing entertainment organisation operating in a highly regulated industry. Data and analytics are central to how they make decisions, with leadership strongly committed to being data led across all areas of the business!

The Role

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will act as a trusted thought partner to senior stakeholders across digital, marketing, CRM and commercial teams.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading ad hoc deep dive analysis into player behaviour to uncover commercial opportunities and risks
• Supporting optimisation of digital journeys, products and interfaces using data driven insight
• Building commercial and financial models to assess the impact of new products, features and initiatives
• Supporting test and learn activity through hypothesis creation, uplift measurement and identification of unintended consequences
• Analysing incentive and bonus mechanics, including identifying bonus-seeking behaviour and supporting responsible play
• Proactively anticipating stakeholder questions and challenging assumptions with evidence-based insight

Your Skills and Experience

• Strong commercial analytics experience within a consumer, digital or regulated environment
• Advanced SQL skills and experience working with large, complex datasets in a cloud data warehouse
• Experience using Python or R for advanced analytics such as segmentation, clustering and cohort analysis
• Ability to turn ambiguous, unstructured problems into clear analytical approaches and recommendations
• Confidence influencing senior stakeholders through clear communication and strong analytical reasoning
• A proactive mindset with comfort operating in fast changing, ambiguous environments
• Understanding of customer behaviour and responsible engagement principles within regulated industries is highly valued
