Senior Cyber Underwriter ManchesterAbout the Team You'll be joining a growing Cyber underwriting team made up of Assistant Underwriters, Underwriters, and Development Underwriters, operating across both open market and e-trade platforms. With ambitious growth plans through to 2030, this is an exciting time to be part of a team focused on building a market-leading Cyber offering.This role reports directly to the Cyber Team Leader and will play a key part in underwriting both new business and renewals within a dedicated Cyber unit.The Role As a Senior Cyber Underwriter, you will take ownership of underwriting activity while acting as a key referral point for the wider team. You'll contribute to delivering strong growth, support team development, and build lasting broker relationships to position the business as a go-to market for Cyber risks.Key ResponsibilitiesContribute to ambitious new business growth targets within the Cyber teamManage and negotiate key renewal accounts, with a focus on profitability and retentionUnderwrite Cyber risks in line with underwriting guidelines and authority levelsAct as a referral point for colleagues, supporting technical development across the teamBuild and maintain strong trading relationships with broker partnersReview and negotiate broker submissions, promoting product strengths to win businessManage cases from enquiry through to bind using internal workflow platformsAbout YouMinimum 3+ years' experience in Cyber underwritingStrong experience across both new business and renewalsProven ability to build and maintain broker relationshipsCommercial mindset with strong negotiation skillsConfident communicator, able to influence both internally and externallyExperience with e-trade platforms (e.g. Acturis) is beneficial but not essentialComfortable supporting team members and handling referralsThis is a fantastic opportunity to step into a senior role within a high-growth Cyber team, where you can make a tangible impact on both the portfolio and team development.JBRP1_UKTJ
