Conveniently located, we are a two-minute walk from Marylebone mainline and Underground stations, and within a ten-minute walk of Baker Street and Edgware Road Underground stations.We are owned by the international medical group Emeis, delivering the full spectrum of psychiatric care, and high-quality care home and rehabilitation services across the globe.The main purpose of the job As a Senior Credit Controller, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient operation of the Credit Control function, supporting the financial health of the organisation. You will provide day-to-day leadership to the Credit Control team, ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts while maintaining excellent relationships with patients and stakeholders.This is a hands-on role where you will oversee the accounts receivable ledger, manage escalations, and support process improvements. Working closely with the wider finance team and hospital departments, you will help ensure accuracy, compliance, and a high standard of service delivery.Who were looking for? You will have proven experience in credit control or accounts receivable management, ideally within a healthcare or care environment. You will have experience supervising or coordinating a small team and feel confident leading by example. You will be reliable, proactive, and comfortable taking initiative in a leadership capacity. You will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and credit control procedures. You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships. You will be able to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively in a busy environment. You will be proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word. Experience with accounting and hospital systems (such as Advanced Financials and Caresys/Carecloud) would be advantageous. You will demonstrate strong attention to detail and accuracy. You will be able to handle sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality.
