Providing accurate cost advice and reporting to our clients Delivering projects, commissions and professional assignments Leading commercial management services with limited supervision Assume a leading role within the team and foster a collaborative, innovative environment where talent can thrive Maintaining effective communication to ensure all information is available for the successful completion of projects Delivering all work outputs in an accurate and timely manner Liaising with other managers to ensure good resource allocation and efficient financial control Providing support to the team leader / service leaders in cost management of projects Representing the company in a professional and diligent manner; meeting, negotiating and corresponding with clients to form strong working relationships
Qualifications
BSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent Membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) Awareness of sustainability requirements, the need for carbon reduction, carbon assessments and option studies Data Skills including preparing cost analyses, benchmarking and dashboard and smart reporting Public / private sector experience – ideally experience gained from some of the following: new build, cut & carve, refurbishment and fit out - offices, healthcare, residential, hospitality, major projects, government and leisure & retail Pre and post-contract experience Proficient CostX or other Cost Planning software Good technical writing, client-facing and communication skills Well-organised, diligent, proactive, assertive, well-disciplined and commercially astute A team player with a ‘can-do’ attitude, outgoing, polite, patient, diplomatic, personable, respectful and flexible
