The Opportunity
* As Senior Contract Manager you will lead on Civil Engineering Marine projects throughout the South Coast ranging in value between £3-4M, £8M to £20M.
* Project types include harbour and coastal defence works, marine piling and MOD port projects
Key Responsibilities
* Lead project teams to ensure successful contract delivery, strengthening customer relationships and achieving business targets.
* Work with bid teams at tender stage, preparing submissions and helping to secure new contracts.
* Attend tender handover meetings to fully understand scope, methodology, client priorities, risks and opportunities.
* Organise and attend client meetings throughout the project lifecycle to ensure expectations are met or exceeded.
* Champion the company brand and values in all client and stakeholder interactions.
* Embed a “right first time” culture, driving high standards of safety, quality and site presentation.
* Monitor quality and snagging systems during construction and post‑completion, acting as main contact for any post‑completion issues.
* Lead by example on health and safety, fostering a strong safety culture on all projects.
* Ensure working conditions comply with company and statutory regulations, including regular audits and IMS compliance.
Essential
* Proven track record leading successful civil engineering site teams.
* Strong experience managing health & safety compliance on projects.
* Civil Engineering and Marine project experience.
Desirable
* Programming and planning experience.
* Experience of managing a direct delivery workforce.
Basic salary up to £95,000 p/a plus package.
