Based in West London, this role offers a competitive salary of £80,000 - £90,000 per annum, reflecting the importance of the position and the value of your skills.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nAs a Senior Contracts Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing mechanical contracts within NHS environments.
Your key responsibilities will include:\n\nLeading the management and delivery of NHS mechanical contracts, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.\nOverseeing maintenance operations and ensuring the highest levels of service delivery.\nManaging budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.\nBuilding and maintaining strong relationships with NHS stakeholders and other key partners.\nProviding technical guidance and support to the team, leveraging your engineering expertise.\nIdentifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing best practices.\nEnsuring health and safety standards are rigorously upheld across all sites.\n\nQualifications\n\nTo excel in this role, you will need:\n\nExtensive experience managing NHS contracts and working on NHS sites.\nA strong background in maintenance management within a mechanical engineering context.\nA technical engineering qualification or equivalent experience.\nProven leadership and team management skills.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.\nA proactive and mission-driven mindset, with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.\n\nDay-to-Day\n\nYour day-to-day activities will include:\n\nConducting site visits to ensure contract compliance and operational efficiency.\nLeading team meetings and providing clear direction to staff.\nLiaising with NHS representatives to address any concerns or requirements.\nReviewing and approving maintenance schedules and technical reports.\nMonitoring project progress and addressing any issues that arise.\nEnsuring all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations.\nReporting to senior management on contract performance and outcomes.\n\nFor more information about this exciting opportunity, please contact Russel Cleverley of Penguin Recruitment.
