Job Description
Reporting to a Procurement lead, this role involves working on client facing transformational procurement programmes, leading workstreams, collaborating with stakeholders, and operational procurement teams to deliver sustainable change in procurement operations for our clients. The successful candidate will be instrumental in redefining procurement operations to align with our client’s wider strategy and vision, leading workstreams in implementing new procurement target operating models that leverage technology for enhanced efficiency, developing and implementing sustainable procurement strategies and delivering cost transformation initiatives for our clients.

The Opportunity
This role will provide the opportunity to further your transformational procurement and consultancy experience, working with and leading workstreams of highly skilled practitioners to deliver industry leading procurement change to large global brands on some of the most exciting transformational programmes and projects in the market.
This role will be a part of our growing Transformational Procurement team within Contract Services and will contribute to our continued expansion and development of our enterprise level transformational procurement propositions, including Sustainable Procurement, Digital Procurement, Procurement Target Operating Model, Cost and Spend Transformation and Procurement strategy.
Main Expectations
Supporting and leading workstreams for clients in their procurement transformation initiatives across a variety of industries and sectors, guiding clients towards modernised and efficient procurement systems, alignment with their digital ambitions and a clear focus on their sustainability targets.
Developing and implementing sustainable procurement strategies and practices, and supporting clients to align with environmental, social and governance goals while delivering their procurement objectives and vision.
Design and implement procurement target operating models for the future, optimising procurement operations, aligning with digital and commercial strategies, and delivering a sustainable enterprise level transformation.
Formulate and execute procurement strategies that drive cost savings and enhance operational efficiencies within client organisations.
Support the development of our Transformational Procurement proposition suite and build innovative market eminence and thought leadership.
Support the delivery of compelling market propositions and client proposals aligned to both team and broader business targets.
Skills
We are looking for individuals with a blend of procurement and advisory experience in delivering transformational procurement programmes that embed change into the end-to-end enterprise level procurement and supply chain value chain. This should include a mixture of the following;
Strong procurement and supply chain knowledge, from industry or advisory
Established workstream and project management skills
People management and support skills
Solid research, evaluation and analysis skills
Storyboarding and presentation skills
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
Strong IT and digital skills and a real interest and curiosity in tools, systems and data
Procurement and Supply Chain intelligence and innovation
Qualifications
Preferably has a degree related to one of the following; Procurement, Supply Chain, Sustainability, Business Management or similar disciplines
Previous experience in procurement transformation and/or sustainable procurement.
Has achieved, is working towards or is willing to work towards at least Level 4 Diploma in Procurement and Supply.
Security Clearance (SC) - currently valid or could be reinstated, not essential.
Experience
Wider procurement consulting experience gained from either client, contractor or other professional services organisations
Experience of key sustainable procurement practices including human rights, environment, health and safety, anti-bribery & corruption and labour practices
Strong understanding of wider ESG legislative and regulatory environments is desirable
A history of delivering transformative procurement projects, especially related to cost reduction and category management
Experience of leveraging digital tools as part of procurement transformations.
