Job Description

A leading law firm is seeking an experienced Senior Construction Solicitor (6+ PQE) to join its highly regarded Construction & Engineering team in London. This role focuses primarily on non-contentious construction work, advising a high-quality client base on major development and infrastructure projects across the UK.

You will work on a broad range of matters including development and infrastructure projects, real estate and corporate transactions, property finance, and process plant contracts. The role involves advising on and negotiating key construction documentation, including JCT and NEC contracts, development agreements, and associated project documents. The team predominantly acts for developers and employers, although experience acting for contractors or suppliers will also be valued.

Working closely with experienced partners and a team, you will play a key role in delivering commercially focused advice across the full project lifecycle, from procurement through to completion. There is also scope to mentor junior lawyers and contribute to business development initiatives. While the focus is non-contentious, candidates with an interest in developing contentious experience are also encouraged to apply.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in non-contentious construction law, excellent technical drafting skills, and a commercial, solution-driven approach.
