I’m supporting a global London Market specialty insurance client in the search for a Senior Compliance Officer (Business Partner) to join their compliance function. This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically strong compliance professional who enjoys partnering closely with the business while influencing regulatory standards across multiple jurisdictions.

As Senior Compliance Officer you will:

• Act as a trusted advisory partner to underwriting, risk, governance, operational resilience and customer outcomes teams.
• Provide guidance on regulatory obligations in a practical, solution‑focused way.
• Support the business on regulatory change implementation, remediation plans, and actions arising from monitoring, internal audit or regulatory interactions.
• Contribute to new product launches, growth initiatives and distribution changes.
• Prepare reporting for senior leadership, committees and boards.
• Support compliance risk assessments and help shape the wider advisory framework.
• Build strong internal relationships across the international business.
• Keep the business informed of evolving regulatory expectations through industry engagement and horizon‑scanning.

Essential skills:

• Proven compliance experience within the Lloyd's and London market insurance sector.
• Strong working knowledge of FCA and PRA regulatory requirements.
• Confident communicator who can influence and challenge respectfully at all levels.
• Experience engaging with senior stakeholders and preparing high‑quality reports.
