Senior Compliance Officer 18m Fixed-Term Contract International Law Firm Salary Up To £80,000pa London

My client, an international law firm, is actively recruiting for an experienced Risk & Compliance professional with AML and Conflicts experience to join them on an initial 18m FTC basis in their London office – working as their Senior Compliance Officer.

This role is a maternity cover contract!

The Business Acceptance team is a global team operating out of three offices, including London. This role has elements of day-to-day compliance work, as well as people management.

As the successful Senior Compliance Officer, you’ll be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:

Acting as an initial escalation point for queries from team members Managing workload by allocating work fairly and ensuring it’s completed promptly Analysing conflict search results and resolving any issues Implementing and maintaining information barriers Conducting sanctions screenings Playing a leading role in ongoing training and mentoring Ensuring Compliance Officers apply a consistent approach to resolving conflicts, AML and other issues
