Senior Communications Executive The Opportunity We are working with one of Manchesters premier events venues to recruit a Senior Communications Executive to support the strategic planning and manage the tactical delivery of their communication activities. The venue is renowned for hosting a broad spectrum of events from industry conferences to sports functions. The Role The Senior Communications Executive will be responsible for the full mix of communications disciplines, driving the creation of multi-format, multi channel content that engages key audiences and drives business growth. Key responsibilities will include: Work with the Marketing and Communications Director to develop tactical plans in response to business strategy at a brand-led and targeted commercial marketing level Develop and manage a comprehensive multi-channel content strategy to effectively position the venue in key markets and amongst key audiences, in response to business objectives Creation of content - from video and photography to written copy (web, articles, blogs, case studies) - aligned with agreed strategy Support the thought leadership ambitions of the business, identifying relevant opportunities for key spokespeople, creating compelling pitches and developing briefings, narratives and proof points Drafting of award submissions and bid documents, through strong evidence-based storytelling Manage and develop the venues social media channels Track, collate and share regional and industry-wide news, research, insights and trends, briefing senior leaders and the wider business to drive knowledge sharing and support business decision-making Tactical media liaison, as needed, to include press release drafting and distribution The Candidate We are looking for an experienced Senior Communications Executive with a keen eye for detail, a passion for communications and a proven track record of delivering complex assignments. You will bring: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills Experience of developing and executing the content management strategy Strong copywriting skills Content creation via multiple media channels A calm measured approach Package: Salary £35,000 Sound great?
