Senior Commercial Officer

Location: Bedford

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000

Hours: 38 hours, Monday to Friday

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

We’re working on behalf of a unique and long-established organisation with a reputation for excellence in engineering and research. They are now looking to hire a Senior Commercial Officer to join their busy Commercial Team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident and experienced professional with a background in commercial operations, contract management, or bid support, ideally within a technical or engineering-led environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the development of commercial proposals and bids Prepare and submit customer proposals and lead contract negotiations Ensure pricing and offer development follow internal governance and approval processes Provide commercial input into project planning and risk assessments Manage senior stakeholder expectations throughout the bid and contract process Interpret contract requirements and advise internal delivery teams Assist with contract closure and related administration Requirements:
