Job Description

We’re looking for a Senior Commercial Account Manager to oversee teams that work across the commercial functions within Chilled, Fish & Seafood and Fresh Meat.


This is a high-impact leadership role where you will take full ownership of growing categories, focusing on delivering exceptional value and fostering long-term retail partnerships.


What you’ll be doing


  • Building and executing a one to three-year plan to deliver revenue, profit, and EBITDA targets for the category.
  • Driving profitable business growth through both strategic and tactical moves to maximize manufacturing volumes across Myton sites.
  • Managing and developing senior-level relationships with retail customers, Buying, Technical, and NPD teams to become a trusted category partner.
  • Leading a team, including the management of up to 6 Commercial Managers, to develop talent and achieve commercial goals.
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with Site Operations, Finance, and Technical teams to ensure accurate forecasting and successful product launches.
  • Providing commercial strategy and insight to the Senior Leadership Team, including detailed analysis of competitor behavior and market trends.
  • Delivering pricing changes effectively to recover margin and manage cost price inflation.
  • Overseeing innovation and the delivery of NPD/EPD to fulfill consumer needs while utilising site capacity.


About You


We’re looking for someone who:


  • Has 3+ years’ experience within a senior, multiple retailer-facing role.
  • Demonstrates expert knowledge of the categories in which they work, including supply chains and large-scale launch processes.
  • Is a proven business developer with a track record of driving sustainable growth through insight-driven, persuasive selling.
  • Possesses strong financial acumen, with extensive experience in P&L management and commercial analysis.
  • Is a tenacious and resilient leader who can influence senior stakeholders and manage a high-performing team.
  • Is immersed in food trends, with the ability to translate consumer insights into profitable innovation.
  • Is flexible and mobile, as this is a field-based position requiring regular travel to maintain key business ties with customers and respective sites.
