Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer London – Permanent – Hybrid Competitive salary VIQU are partnering with a leading organisation to recruit a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer. This is a hands-on, senior Microsoft infrastructure role with a strong project delivery focus. You will lead projects that improve and scale the core Azure and Microsoft 365 estate, automate processes, and resolve root-cause infrastructure issues, rather than just reacting to tickets. Key Responsibilities of the Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer: • Lead infrastructure projects including Azure migrations, Intune deployments, GPO rationalisation, and cloud networking. • Design, implement, and maintain scalable, repeatable infrastructure using PowerShell, DevOps practices, and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC). • Analyse recurring IT issues and develop long-term solutions to reduce ticket volumes. • Automate processes such as identity management, onboarding, provisioning, and account management. • Monitor, optimise, and secure hybrid cloud environments (Azure and on-premises). • Provide third-line escalation support and act as the technical point of contact for complex infrastructure issues. • Maintain clear documentation and support colleagues in adopting new infrastructure solutions.
