An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior ClientRelationship Manager to join a London-based wealth and platform services business. You will take ownership of key institutional relationships, driving outstanding service, commercial growth and good customer outcomes across a high-profile client portfolio.

The opportunity

  • Act as the senior point of contact for key institutional and platform clients, ensuring a high-quality, collaborative and commercially effective relationship.
  • Maintain and deepen client relationships through regular service and commercial reviews, following up actions promptly to drive satisfaction and retention.
  • Drive revenue growth by identifying client needs and opportunities to introduce additional products and services, while keeping customer outcomes at the centre of decision-making.
  • Engage with senior client stakeholders and executives to understand their strategy and roadmap, ensuring solutions are aligned to support their growth.
  • Act as an escalation point for service and product queries, issues and complaints, ensuring timely and appropriate resolution.
  • Use robust management information to support planning, prioritisation and decision-making, escalating risks or issues where appropriate.
  • Champion a client-focused culture, identifying root causes of issues and helping to implement sustainable fixes.
  • Work closely with Product, Business Development, Operations, Risk and Compliance to deliver agreed client solutions in line with FCA Consumer Duty and wider regulatory expectations.
  • Represent the function at relevant internal forums and, where required, deputise for the Head of Client.

Skills and experience

  • 5+ years’ institutional client relationship management experience, ideally within platform, wealth management or investment management; broader financial services experience will also be considered.
  • Demonstrable track record of delivering exemplary client service, driving good consumer outcomes and sustainable revenue growth.
  • Highly effective communicator, confident engaging senior external stakeholders and internal teams across multiple functions.
  • Strong capability in creating and interpreting management information to support planning, prioritisation and sound decision-making.
  • Solid understanding of UK financial services regulation and risk considerations (e.g. Consumer Duty, CASS, KYC/AML, complaints, TCF).
  • Experience building or contributing to a high-performance, client-focused culture, with the ability to coach and develop others.
