Senior Civil/Structural Engineer
Location: Manchester, Liverpool or London
Salary: £52,000 - £55,000 (Depending on experience)
Contract: 9-month Fixed Term | 40 hours per week | Hybrid (60% office based)

The Role

You'll play a key role in delivering high-impact civil and structural designs – from station upgrades and footbridges to multi-storey car parks and platform works. You'll be hands-on, responsible for producing and reviewing technical designs that shape real-world infrastructure.

You'll grow your leadership profile, work closely with directors, and gain exposure to increasingly complex projects that develop your expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and review design packages for Network Rail projects – your work will be seen and used on the ground
• Create practical, high-quality solutions that meet client and safety requirements
• Collaborate with other disciplines for seamless project delivery
• Mentor junior team members and build your leadership credentials
• Apply industry standards confidently, with tools like Tekla and Revit to support delivery

• Chartered or Incorporated Engineer, or working towards it
• Strong experience delivering Network Rail civil or structural designs
• Confident solving technical problems and presenting solutions
• Ready to lead and mentor others while building your own future
• Practical, driven, and eager to take the next step
