They offer a supportive, collaborative working environment, combining the personal touch of a close-knit firm with the resources and breadth of experience to handle projects of varying size and complexity.\n\nAbout the role\nLead and manage civil engineering projects, from feasibility and design through to construction, for a variety of sectors including residential, commercial, industrial, schools and care-home developments.\nWork closely with clients, architects, contractors, and local authorities to develop safe, cost-effective, compliant and sustainable engineering solutions.\nProvide technical oversight, produce detailed designs and drawings, coordinate infrastructure, drainage, highway and site-services design where required.\nMentor and support junior engineers and technicians, contributing to the growth and development of the team.\nEnsure projects meet statutory requirements, industry standards, and best-practice guidance.\n\nWhat they’re looking for\nSignificant experience in civil or structural engineering consultancy, ideally with experience across a range of project types (residential, commercial, industrial, infrastructure).\nStrong technical competence, excellent numeracy and IT skills, and familiarity with relevant UK design standards/regulations.\nExcellent communication, teamworking and stakeholder-management skills, able to liaise effectively with clients, contractors, local authorities and internal colleagues.\nA flexible, solutions-oriented mindset, with strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines and budgets.\nLeadership or mentoring experience, comfortable supervising and supporting more junior staff
