Senior Civil Engineer

Location: Central London, 5 minutes’ walk from a major mainline station

About the Role

The company is seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer (5+ years’ experience) to join its growing civil engineering team. The role involves working on a broad range of detailed design projects, taking ownership of work under the direction of a senior manager.

Projects include:

Large residential schemes

*

Healthcare facilities

*

Commercial developments

*

High-end private dwellings, including complex basement structures

The position requires strong technical design skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to deliver accurate, high-quality work to tight deadlines while coordinating with multiple stakeholders.

Key Requirements

*

ICE-accredited degree in Civil Engineering

*

5+ years’ experience in civil engineering design

*

Proficiency in Civil 3D or Site 3D , and MicroDrainage or Flow

*

Experience in some or all of:

*

Below-ground drainage design (including SuDS)

*

Retrofitting existing networks and sitewide drainage

*

Drainage Statements & Flood Risk Assessments

*

Private roads to adoptable standards & vehicle tracking

*

Liaison with local authorities for drainage/highway approvals

*

Strong organisational, communication, and teamworking skills

*

Ideally working towards or already holding ICE chartership
