Now, as our team grows, we’re looking for a Senior Civil Engineer ready to take the lead on high-impact, multidisciplinary projects across Aviation, Life Sciences, Defence, Industrial, Power, Transportation, and the Public Sector.

What You’ll Do
Lead civil design delivery across multiple projects, hitting cost, schedule, and quality targets
Mentor junior engineers and technicians, fostering technical growth and BIM integration
Design infrastructure solutions including earthworks, drainage, pavement design, and 3D underground service coordination
Review subcontractor and supplier drawings for compliance and precision
Champion innovation and sustainability in every solution
Represent BakerHicks in client meetings and site visits, showcasing our expertise
Drive best practices in design and project delivery
What You’ll Bring
HNC/HND or degree in Civil Engineering
Chartered or working towards ICE Chartership
Proven experience in infrastructure design and coordination
Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D and MicroDrainage or InfoDrainage
Strong grasp of drainage network design, flood risk assessment, and SuDS
Collaborative mindset with multidisciplinary team experience
Ability to mentor, review, and problem-solve with confidence
Excellent communication skills and a passion for sustainable design
