This is a fantastic opportunity to join my client, a highly-respected, developing Multidisciplinary Consultancy, dedicated to broadening their geographical reach by opening a brand new office location in Bonnie Scotland. Known for lending their expertise to a number of high-profile projects across the landscape architecture, planning, and civil engineering fields, they are actively seeking a capable, experienced Senior Civil Engineer with extensive knowledge of infrastructure design, who is willing to take on a variety of new and challenging projects. You will be working alongside a newly-established team of design experts, based near the lively, exciting city of Glasgow.

Responsibilities for the role of Senior Civil Engineer include:
Contributing to the design of infrastructure projects and developments across the local region and beyond
Leading the day-to-day running of various projects, from inception through to successful delivery/implementation
Mentoring and supporting colleagues' development
Liaising with clients and other stakeholders across the public and private sectors
Preparing and checking technical documents, to include reports, specifications, drawings, calculations, and more
Adhering to company policies, procedures, and best practice, ensuring you uphold the appropriate health and safety standards at all times
Acting as a company representative at client meetings, site visits, etc.
Required skills and experience for the role of Senior Civil Engineer include:
A First Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
Possess Chartered Status with a recognised professional body (e.g., ICE), or actively working to attain this
Extensive experience of working in a design-based role, within a UK-based consultancy or Local Authority setting
Considerable experience of working on infrastructure (particularly highways and drainage), housing developments, and energy projects
Experience of earthworks and drainage network modelling
Proficient in the use of various software systems (including Civils 3D, MicroDrainage, AutoCAD, etc.)
Considerable experience of writing and checking a variety of technical documents
Demonstrable experience of liaising with clients and stakeholders within the industry
Outstanding organisation, time management, team leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Desirable skills and experience for the role of Senior Civil Engineer include:
A Higher Degree in Civil Engineering (or a similar, relevant subject)
Experience of authoring Flood Risk and/or Transport Assessments
Experience of leading projects/teams
Experience of working in a public-facing role
Hold a full, valid UK driving licence
