Are you an experienced Civil Engineer looking to take the next step in your career?
A well-established multidisciplinary consultancy based in Edinburgh, is seeking a talented Senior Civil Engineer to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to play a key role in delivering high-quality infrastructure and development projects across Scotland.
As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will take technical ownership of a variety of civil engineering projects, providing design leadership, mentoring junior engineers, and ensuring the delivery of innovative, cost-efficient solutions. You’ll work closely with clients, project managers, and wider design teams on infrastructure, roads, drainage, and civil works across residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and deliver civil engineering designs from concept through to detailed stages
Oversee the preparation of technical reports, drawings, and specifications
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior and graduate engineers
Manage project deadlines, budgets, and client communications
Contribute to the continuous improvement of design standards and practices
Liaise with local authorities, contractors, and other stakeholders
