OverviewSenior Civil Engineer – Central London | £50,000 - £55,000 | Hybrid Working (3 days in the office / 2 days at home)We are working with a well-established, employee-owned engineering consultancy that delivers innovative civil and structural engineering solutions across the UK. With a strong pipeline of work and growth in London, they are looking to appoint a Senior Civil Engineer to join their Central London office. The consultancy works across sectors including residential, healthcare, education and mixed-use developments, delivering practical and sustainable engineering solutions in collaboration with architects, developers and design teams.The RoleThis position offers the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of projects, covering both civils-led infrastructure schemes and structures-led developments requiring civil engineering design. Working closely with structural engineers and other design professionals, you will play a key role in delivering civil engineering solutions from concept stage through to construction.Typical responsibilities include:Leading the design of drainage, highways and external works packagesDelivering civil infrastructure design on building projects alongside structural engineering teamsProducing technical designs including SuDS strategies, drainage design and earthworksLiaising with clients, architects, local authorities and multidisciplinary teamsSupporting project delivery across multiple sectors including residential, education, healthcare and mixed-use developmentsMentoring and supporting junior engineers within the teamAbout YouYou are likely to have:A degree in Civil Engineering or a related disciplineAround 5+ years' experience within a civil engineering consultancyExperience delivering drainage and highway designs for development projectsKnowledge of Section 278, Section 38 and Section 104 approvalsExperience with design software such as Civil 3D, MicroDrainage or Causeway FlowAn interest in progressing toward ICE Chartership if not already achievedWhat’s on OfferSalary £50,000 - £55,000Hybrid working – 3 days in the Central London office and 2 days working from homeOpportunity to work on a wide range of development and infrastructure projectsStrong support for professional development and chartershipA collaborative and supportive consultancy environment with excellent long-term career prospectsIf you’re interested in learning more, please get in touch for a confidential discussion.Will Herman07581 619523Equal OpportunityAldwych Consulting values diversity and promotes equality.
